In one line: this website collects only your name and contact details for early registration. No service documents, no identity proofs, no payment information — those are never asked for on this website.

1. Who we are

Rakshak is a brand of Sanmarg Educational Services Pvt. Ltd. ("we", "us"). This policy covers the Rakshak website at rakshakid.com only. The Rakshak mobile app, when it launches, will have its own privacy policy describing the app’s data practices.

2. What we collect

We do not collect service records, identity documents, Aadhaar, PAN, photographs, financial information or passwords on this website. We do not use advertising trackers.

3. Why we collect it

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with any third party for their marketing.

4. Legal basis and consent

We process this information with your consent under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act). Submitting a form on this website is a voluntary act; by registering you consent to the processing described in this policy. You may withdraw consent at any time (see Section 7).

5. Where your data lives

Registrations are stored on Google’s cloud infrastructure under accounts controlled by Sanmarg Educational Services Pvt. Ltd. Access is limited to the founder and personnel working on Rakshak under confidentiality obligations.

6. How long we keep it

We retain registration data until the Rakshak app launches and for a reasonable period after, so that Founding status can be matched and honoured. If you ask us to delete your data, or if the project is discontinued, your data will be deleted.

7. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you may request: access to the data we hold about you, correction of inaccurate data, deletion of your data, and withdrawal of consent. Write to info@rakshakid.com from the contact details you registered with, and we will act within a reasonable time.

8. Grievance

For any grievance regarding your personal data, contact our Grievance Officer at grievance@rakshakid.com. If unresolved, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India as provided under the DPDP Act.

9. Children

This website is intended for use by adults (18+). Family members below 18 are registered by their parent or guardian through the family provisions of the Rakshak programme.

10. Changes

If we change this policy, the updated version will be published on this page with a new effective date. Material changes will be notified to registered members.
